Running is a wonderful way to be reminded of all the blessings. Your legs, heart & lungs to keep you going. A friend that sticks closer that a brother by your side. The sunrise, I mean, seriously what a beautiful promise. I have no idea the things that will drag me down in this life. The things that I feel like I will not be able to face. Heartbreak, loss, hurts. But through it all Nothing in this world will matter like Jesus. In the beginning of a storm, in the middle, at the end During the most heavenly times on earth He is present. We are in the home stretch. Today we had our fire inspection. Monday is the safety audit. This is a time I can honestly say I am stressed  but I am beyond thankful for people praying for us. Because I can look at my life; look at my weaknesses and think who in the world thought I should be a mother,  let alone a foster mother. I can look at myself and compare. Or I can look to Jesus and be in awe. In awe of how He lead us here. In awe of how little my thinking was a year ago, when God busted that little box. On days like today where my stress and anxiety and weakness overtake my thoughts and I kind of get trapped in them I am thankful for my husband who when he sees how trapped in my head I am just holds me. I don't need to say a thing, that man knows me too well, so he just holds me. For a friend that seems to text me asking to pray for me exactly when I need it. For Kari Jobe. Our baby turns 2 years old today. Birthdays are always so full of emotion. Oh yes, you had better prepare yourself for two year epic cuteness!!!!   No, she's not a twin...that's just her 3 days older than her cousin  OH we struggled. STRUGGLED with breastfeeding. But she was the " little is better than nothing " baby. So I nursed and then supplemented with formula. This was one of those sweet times that she nursed and fell asleep with that smile.    Addison is so silly. She makes a laugh all the time. She's a great sleeper, I know I know, I got spoiled with her. She loves to sing. She loves to dance. She is a talker. She loves to swing. She will eat just about anything. Her favorite book is  "frew and frew" She loves Elmo, Pooh, & Tigger. Her new favorite toys to play with are her Bubba's cars. We are so blessed

I was born in Mountain Home, Idaho.... but that is not where I grew up. I don't even remember Idaho. When I was 3 1/2 my parents divorced. My mom, brother & I headed to Lima, Ohio where my grandparents lived. I grew up in Lima. And no it's nothing like Glee portrays it to be. It's an odd town. It's not tiny, but come guys, there isn't even a Target {first world problems right there} I went to the same school all my life. Which I am thankful for. Go Bulldogs!!!!
